About Dr. Benenati
Dr. Sebastian Benenati is a board-certified foot surgeon and podiatrist who treats patients from pediatric to geriatric, with an emphasis on forefoot surgery.
Dr. Benenati earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Detroit Mercy. He then attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where he received a second bachelor's degree, in biology, and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). He completed postgraduate training through the southern division of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association, finishing his preceptorship in podiatric medicine and surgery.
He is an adjunct clinical professor at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and has trained podiatric residents at Ascension St. John Hospital & Medical Center. Dr. Benenati has been recognized as a Top Doc, as elected by his peers. When he's not working, he enjoys flying, racing horses, hunting, fishing and scuba diving.
