Price Transparency

Know what you're going to pay before your appointment.

For Patients & Employers to Pay Directly

We offer transparent, upfront pricing for those seeking to pay directly for care. Our self-pay options benefit cash-pay patients, patients with high insurance deductibles, patients with no out-of-network insurance coverage, and anyone who bears the out-of-pocket expense for our services.

Now you can better plan your healthcare expenses if you know what you're going to pay before you have the appointment.

With our self-pay pricing, pay for your visit upfront with no hidden costs. Movement Orthopedics values pricing transparency. Get a handle on your healthcare costs by knowing what you're paying ahead of time. Transparent self-pay options are especially suited for patients with high insurance deductibles, with out-of-network insurance, or those patients without insurance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I don't have insurance?
We offer transparent cash pricing for all of our services. Visit our Pricing page for a full list of self-pay rates. We also accept CareCredit for patients who may need financing options.
How can I get a cost estimate before my visit?
You can call our billing department at (586) 436-3785, ext. 107, to request a Good Faith Estimate before your appointment. Under the No Surprises Act, uninsured and self-pay patients have the right to receive this estimate in advance.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), and CareCredit. Payment is expected at the time of service for self-pay patients.
What does the initial visit include?
Our $299 initial visit includes the physician consultation plus any of the following that may be needed: X-ray, cast, Kenalog or Toradol injection, and sling or brace (up to $50.00 value). This covers a comprehensive evaluation at one transparent price.
Are follow-up visits included with fracture care?
Yes. Fracture care follow-up appointments are covered for 90 days after your initial visit at no additional charge. Follow-up X-rays during fracture care are $49 per visit. This applies to the appointment only.
What is the No Surprises Act?
The No Surprises Act is a federal law that protects patients from unexpected medical bills. It requires healthcare providers to give uninsured and self-pay patients a Good Faith Estimate of charges before providing services. If your final bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.
Do you offer payment plans?
We offer CareCredit financing for patients who may not have the full amount on hand. CareCredit provides flexible payment plans so you can get the care you need right away. Ask our front desk for details.
