Ashley Bowden is an ANCC nationally accredited, board-certified nurse practitioner. Nurse practitioners provide much of the same care as physicians. They are qualified to diagnose medical problems, order and interpret diagnostic testing, perform physical exams, prescribe medications and physical therapy, perform minor in-office procedures and injections, and can make referrals for a wide variety of health conditions.
Ashley completed both her undergraduate and graduate degree programs at Oakland University. She began her nursing career in the ICU at McLaren Macomb Hospital. After completing her master’s program in 2013, Ashley worked in a family practice medical office for a year before joining Movement Orthopedics. Ashley has experience in critical care, fracture care, wound care management, suturing and assisting during surgical procedures, providing injections, and monitoring and treating patients pre- and post-surgery.
Ashley is a member of the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners and is a Level 1 TPI certified golf swing analyst. She is BLS- and ACLS-certified and enjoys staying up-to-date on the most current practice recommendations by frequently attending continuing education courses. During her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter; crafting, scrapbooking, and knitting; working out; and reading fiction literature.
Jeffrey Mundt is an AANP nationally accredited, board-certified nurse practitioner.
Jeff attended Madonna University, where he received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing. He is well-regarded in his field, earning numerous accolades for his quality of care over the years. For example, Jeff was recognized by the Michigan Primary Care Association as Clinician of the Year and by the Detroit Medical Center as Employee of the Month. The VA Medical Center honored him with the Nursing Excellence Award, Nurse Practitioner Award, and Member of the Month Award. He also received the Patient Education Award of Excellence, Advantage Family Health Employee Award, Julienne Hoff Scholarship Award, and Richard C. Connelly, MD, Education Award.
Jeff has extensive experience in healthcare education and training. For many years, Jeff was a nursing instructor at Macomb Community College, as well as an EKG/telemetry instructor for critical care area employees. Currently, he serves in the orthopedic department at the VA Medical Center in Detroit, with surgical and clinical duties, including teaching advanced cardiac life support and rapid response. He is also a nurse practitioner preceptor at Wayne State University and a student preceptor for advanced practice registered nurse programs at Wayne State University and University of Detroit Mercy. He is currently a member of the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners and is certified in basic life support.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys weightlifting, backpacking, and outdoor water sports like canoeing and kayaking.
Rosanne Wilkinson is a certified physician assistant.
Rosanne received her bachelor’s degree in health and physical education/athletic training at Western Michigan University in 1992. Rosanne was employed as a certified athletic trainer for Henry Ford Athletic Medicine, where she served as the head athletic trainer for Marian High School and treated outpatient orthopedic patients as well as professional athletes from the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Red Wings.
In 1999, Rosanne received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Detroit Mercy, where she later served as an adjunct faculty member. She was hired as the first physician assistant at St. John Hospital, and worked in the emergency department. She then moved to the inpatient orthopedic department, where she worked for 16 years.
Rosanne joined Movement Orthopedics in 2017, and currently works in our orthopedic urgent care clinic.
Rosanne is also a health and fitness coach and enjoys exercising and educating others about how easy it can be to live a healthy lifestyle. Rosanne and her husband Scott have three beautiful children: Nicholas (14), Jillian (12), and Jacob (11), who are very active in travel hockey, soccer, and volleyball. Their family also includes two dogs, Harley and Coco.
Adam Puszczewicz is a physical therapist at Movement Orthopedics.
He received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science and physical education with an emphasis on athletic training from Adrian College. Adam went on to receive his doctor of physical therapy (DPT) from Oakland University in 2010 and his orthopedic manual physical therapy (OMPT) certification in 2015.
Adam is also Astym certified, TPI Level 1 certified, and Functional Dry Needling Level 1 & 2 certified. He has experience working with athletes and work hardening, as well as helping patients with neck and lower back pain.
When he’s not working, Adam enjoys spending time with his two young children
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Stephen Ung, PT, DPT is a staff physical therapist at Movement Orthopedics. He graduated from Michigan State University in 2013 with his Bachelors of Kinesiology and went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Oakland University in 2016.
Stephen is also certified in Functional Dry Needling Level 1. He enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions including post-operative conditions and sports related injuries.
His personal interests are working out, golfing, and spending time with his growing family.
Jodi Fischer is a physical therapist at Movement Orthopedics.
Jodi received a master’s degree in physical therapy from Oakland University. Her education and training have focused on manual therapy for soft tissue, joint, and spinal intervention, as well as headache management.
Jodi has 20 years of experience in orthopedic settings. She is certified in RockTape and RockBlades, which are instrument-assisted therapies for soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).
In her free time, Jodi enjoys the outdoors, gardening, crafts, and attending sporting events. Her favorite professional team is the Detroit Tigers.
