About Sebastian Benenati

Dr. Sebastian Benenati is a board-certified foot surgeon and podiatrist who treats pediatric to geriatric patients, with an emphasis on forefoot surgery.

After graduating from University of Detroit Mercy, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Dr. Benenati attended Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, where he received a second bachelor’s degree, in biology, as well as his doctor of podiatric medicine (DPM). He then underwent postgraduate training with the southern division of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association, where he completed his preceptorship in podiatric medicine and surgery.

Dr. Benenati is on staff at Ascension St. John Hospital & Medical Center, Beaumont Hospital Grosse Pointe, Henry Ford Lakeside Outpatient Center, as well as Premier Surgical Center. He also has a private practice in Roseville.

He is an adjunct clinical professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and has trained podiatric residents at Ascension St. John Hospital & Medical Center. Dr. Benenati was recognized in Detroit Hour Magazine as a Top Doc, as elected by his peers.

When he’s not working, Dr. Benenati enjoys flying, racing horses, hunting, fishing and scuba diving.
